Hi, I'm a single dad to a 7 year old boy. Been divorced for a couple of years now. Just now trying to get back into dating again. It's been over 10 years since I have dated and this seems really weird to do this online thing but I just don't have the time to meet anyone.
I kept the house and full custody in the divorce and the mom is not even in the picture right now. Hopefully in the future she will get her act together and be able to take our son part of the time so I can have a life back and he can have his mom back. I am not looking for a new mom but I know I am somewhat strict and he needs a female or softer approach to offset me and help raise him.
I waited until I knew for sure I was over my ex and got my head strait to start dating again. Plus I didn't want to confuse him.
I like to listen to hard or classic rock but can listen to just about anything except rap. I like the outdoors and try and get out to go camping, snowboarding, or just go for walks in the park when I can.
Basically I'm like any other single parent out there. I'm just trying to find someone to fill the void in my life and find love again.
