I am a Daughter of Christ, a Woman, and a Mom. In that order. I love my children, deeply. I am single. I believe Dr. Zhivago was truly an awful movie, and way over rated. I play chess. I love to dance. I sing in the shower. I love to read the works of the great literary legends. I also like to read the Sunday comics. I love the concertos of Vivaldi, yet I believe the Four Seasons are overplayed. I am more of a dog person. I love to watch the mannerisms of people when they speak. I have been told that I am extremely outgoing and can make a friend in the grocery line (and I have) but on the inside, I am extremely shy. There is a time and place for everything. Sporks, however, fit into any social situation. Yes, I am a christian. No, that is not the determining factor as to who I chose to spend time with. I do not always care to be around people who are like minded with me in all things. If I ---- around myself all the time, I would have nothing to contribute to my own understanding of other views. And I would just piss myself off anyways, I am rather chatty at times. Nothing sucks worse then going out on a few dates before you realize you totally wasted 3 perfectly good Saturdays on going to a movie with someone who compulsively picks his nose and flicks boogers at the back of peoples heads. So, 'hanging out for coffee' works really well for me as a start. I love how people connect music to life, and if life came with a soundtrack, there is not a doubt Cat Stevens would be following me everywhere I go. Which, might be a little creepy after the first day.
