geeky mama looking for friends or date let me start by saying I'm still technically married. my husband and I had some very complex issues, and he seems unwilling to do what it takes to resolve. we have been in separate bedrooms for about 3 months now, nothing has really changed or gotten better, and I'm tired of waiting to move on with my life.

that being said, I have a wonderful 2 year old son, he's a handful, but he's fun. I have a fair few heath problems, but am working on getting them resolved.

I am bi. I prefer men, but male is not a requirement. what is required is a brain and the capability to use it. physical appearances are not nearly as important to me as someone who is smart. and those shirts that say "talk nerdy to me"... those are for me. I love star trek in all it's incarnations (less for voyager than others, but...) I play D&D, I do medieval re-enactments, I know who leslie fish is, I read fantasy novels and comic books, and can argue why spider-man should have brought the human torch in to help defeat sandman. in other words, I am a geek. I also happen to be proud of it. to see if you've actually read this far, if you message me tell me your favorite color. I enjoy my geekdom, and I like being around other geeks, but only if they are the intelligent breed. the ones with the enthusiasm and stubbornness but without the intelligence annoy me.

I can sometimes pretend to not be geeky, but it always peeks out in the end. if you want to even be friends with me, you don't HAVE to be a geek, yourself, but you do need to not mind it in me, otherwise we will not last long. but if you don't mind these things I've described, maybe we could talk.
