Monster loving single daddy I'm a single dad looking for someone to share life with. I'm not the person I was before becoming a parent 8 yrs ago, so it's hard to relate to the same people I once did.

I am an operations manager by day and domestic daddy by night. You won't catch me watching sports unless it's my kid in karate, but you might catch me sewing new curtains or baking a new recipe from pinterest.

I grew up in the midwest punk rock & goth scene, and actually first landed in SoCal because of my life as a musician. I rarely play anymore and I don't have any desire for a band, I do still listen to socially aware and dark music at times.

I am often a bit too logical for some peoples taste and I talk when i'm nervous. My social anxiety makes it worse.. But I warm up fast if i'm in a comfortable situation. I am quite liberal, a heart, beginner buddhist. I was raised protestant by one half of my family, jewish by the other, and buddhist by choice. Kinda crazy.. but I believe in positive thinking and acceptance of others, regardless of race, class, religion, orientation, etc.

I imagine my future in a relationship, having an eclectic assortment of friends, BBQing under the moonlight while stargazing and listening to a crazy mix of outdated music. But mostly I see my child growing up in a world filled with as many happy moments as I can provide for him.

Some random facts: I can't survive without coffee. I am overweight and the nerve damage in my neck has only contributed to it. I have multiple tattoos. My son has mild-autism. I have a degree in Political Science/History and I love to read. I work in the Estate purchase/resell industry.

We like halloween, but we collect monster figures (Michael Myers, Jason Vorhees, Frankenstein, etc) year round.
