Life of a single Parent I am a single mother of a 2 year old girl who has special needs. My little girl had a stroke before she was born that wasnt medically diagnosed till she was 9 months of age. From the age of 9 months till about age 18 months we were going to different doctors to try and figure out the cause of the stroke. Still to this day we have yet to figure out a cause. Going back and forth to the docs and my daughter having the nedds she did and does i was not able to have very much time to myself. Now that she is 2 and is somewhat independent and goes to early head start I am able to have some time to myself to get things done.
