In my conclusion, I believe that each of us has in mind a particular persona that we are interested in. In our search for our "special someone" we work to fit the person of interest into our criteria, searching for "signs" that he/she is the person of our dreams. In doing this, our minds systematically elude discovery of unbecoming qualities that family members or friends may detect, but we readily dismiss. This is why everyone else sees his/her personality and oft times we defend them, accessing only small portions of the demeanor and making excuses for it. Finally, when we allow ourselves to see the whole picture of what everyone else has seen, we are disappointed. The fact is that this is a dysfunction that all of us have established at one time or another. The only failures are the ones that refuse to take responsibility for the poor decision and continue to make the same mistakes over and over while they blame the people that are being themselves all along!

`that is so true when i was married the second time it was because i always wanted a family and i seen a ready made family that needed a father, and i was more then willing to over look any flaws the person had and i did just to end in heart break but from then on (which is here recently) i know who i am but i do not know what i am looking for so now comes the fun of trial and error dating... but i do not see things as mistakes but poor decisions that result in life lessons and if you don't learn from those life lessons then you need help with your decision making process lol
